My husband and I were new to the Miami area, and do not have any family living nearby, so we wanted to hire a night nurse to help us navigate as new parents. Finding Paula and Babies RN was such a blessing! Paula was extremely responsive and answered all of our nervous soon to be new parent questions, and helped us plan for the care that would work best for us. She found us an amazing caregiver that we were able to meet and make sure we were comfortable with before our baby was born.
In addition, our baby ended up being 8 days late and we ended up having an unplanned emergency c-section and had to stay in the hospital longer than expected. Paula was so understanding and helpful of our situation, as we had planned to have our services start the first night home from the hospital.
I also cannot speak highly enough of our caregiver, Diede. From the very first night, Diede demonstrated a remarkable ability to connect with us and our baby. It can be a very tricky thing to navigate welcoming someone new into your home, especially in such a vulnerable time of being first time parents. Diede set us at ease instantly with her calm and kind demeanor, and wealth of newborn care knowledge. My c-section recovery has also been much more manageable than I would have expected, due entirely to Diede’s help enabling me to get ample rest.
Diede was always punctual, reliable, and prepared for each shift. She communicated clearly about our baby's needs and progress, and she was always willing to answer our questions, and talk through details and questions with us. She also had excellent product recommendations – when our baby developed a bit of a diaper rash, she let us know the very best healing cream to purchase, which cleared up our baby’s rash pretty much the next day! It can be so overwhelming as new parents with all the information out there, and having Diede’s wealth of newborn care knowledge was so amazing to help us determine what works best for us.
I cannot recommend the services of Babies RN enough! Thank you so much to Paula and Diede for supporting us in our first weeks as new parents.
